Pickler grew up in a difficult family. In order to leave an abusive partner, Pickler's mother left her when she was barely 2 years old. In 1995, she returned back to the world of Pickler, and took the custody rights. But it didn't work out as planned. Pickler aged 12 was returned to her parents by the court. They took care of her till she was old enough to be an adult. With the loss of their parents Pickler was too busy caring for her kids. Pickler admitted she didn't find time to attend school and began learning how to be a homemaker in the early years. Pickler played cheerleading in her high and middle schools.
