Ina Garten has been a popular American cookbook author for many seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina Garten began her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget documents. While she found it to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she stopped her pursuit and bought a tiny speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. the shop extremely popular before letting it go before acquiring a pen to write her first cookbook. Numerous other cookbooks and magazine columns came later. A different hit is the Food Network Television show. Ina sells a variety of things, from food ingredients cooking to kitchenware and storage. Ina was never to any cooking institute and hasn't been employed in restaurants. She is self-taught. Her name is known for her easy way of entertaining and easy food preparation. She is known for her simple recipes such as Skillet Baked Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese made with beef Bourguignon, and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts.
