Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American performer, actress and songwriter for several years. She was raised by her mother, within the USA. She was subjected to racial remarks and made to feel unwanted. It was in her ninth year that she started to feel more confident after being highly praised during an audition. It not only increased her confidence but her ambitions were changed. At the age of 22, she received her degree from at the Julliard School of New York. In 1993, she had her Broadway debut in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was called You've Got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot She played the Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. The following year, in 2007, she was a cast member on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and became more popular. A well-known performer, she has also recorded songs and plays. Additionally, she works as a LGBT activist.
